Datos académicos

Dr Adelina Sánchez Espinosa is a senior lecturer in English Literature at the University of Granada (Spain), where she teaches English Literature and Literary Tecniques. In addition, she teaches a course in the Erasmus Mundus Master of GEMMA on Women and Literature; as well as another similar course for the Master of the University of Granada on English Language and Literature. In 1995 she obtained her PhD the fiction of Thomas Hardy, which she wrote in Granada. Her interest lies on modernist and contemporary women writers as well as Feminist Literature and is working with several academics from around Europe such as Jasmina Luckic or Vita Fortunatti. Currently, she is working in the following research projects as main researcher:

1. The excellence research project “CuRe: Cuerpos Re-escritos: Dolor y Violencia en Escritoras y Personajes Femeninos de la Literatura de Mujeres”.

2.  GEMMA: Erasmus Mundus Action 1 Project: Joint European Master  in Women's and Gender Studies

3. "Sectoral qualifications framework for the humanities and the arts (SQF

HUMART)" as the co-ordinator of the literary area.
